Spring Term

 

This term our topic is 'Tourism'. We will be exploring the Himalayan environment, designing and marketing our own campsite. This also includes making our own friendship bracelets, investigating Japanese artwork and learning how to keep safe in the mountains!

 

 

Homework

Year 6 homework will now be set weekly. You will receive maths homework from your maths teacher every Thursday. This needs to be returned the following Tuesday. Spellings will be given out every Monday and tested on Friday. Homework includes 20 minutes reading and table practise every night. Reading logs should be filled in regularly and shown to the class teacher once a week.

 

2009 Events

World Book Day.

6T led the day with their brilliant assembly about bringing books to life. This consisted of many fantastic costumes not to mention a few "snappy" crocodiles! Well done 6T!

Year 6 enjoyed dressing up as heroes and villains from their favourite stories. Pictures coming soon!
