Super Schools at Magor VAP !!!
SUPER SCHOOLS
On April 13th Super schools came into school with Ben Brown, a commonwealth gold medallist in gymnastics. We all got sponsors to do star jumps, sit ups, press ups and leg drives. Everybody had their own picture taken with Ben and his gold medal. The sponsor money we raised went to Super schools, which are raising money for our school and future athletes.
After everybody had finished Ben gave us a performance. He did Cartwheels with no hands, Handstands into lots of different things, front somersaults, back somersaults.
For his finale, he started doing dive rolls over people, and also made it to the other side, then he told us he'd only ever dive rolled over six people twice, but he still did it and made it. Then he told us the super schools record was six and if we wanted to beat it properly we should get e teacher as the seventh person. We were all very scared, but Ben managed to dive roll over all of us. It was clever how he did it, it was an enjoyable day, and I wish someday I could be as good as that.
