Baker Steve Visits Year One
In preparation for their planned mini enterprise event in December year one were visited by Baker Steve from Wrens Bakery,
All of the children prepared questions in advance of the visit, and listened well to the new knowledge Steve offered. He also involved the children in working the dough, and talked about food preparation.
The children enjoyed a valuable afternoon that they had eagerly looked forward to. Steve left after telling the children about his hectic schedule at the moment making mince pies for a certain visitor many children seem to be expecting in December. However, he had managed to find the time to very kindly make an iced bun for everybody to enjoy!
